SIGNIFICANCE AND CONCLUSION

This section should focus on the substance and impact of your search and contain any (or all) of the following that are relevant. It can be written as one section or be separated into two.

SIGNIFICANCE:

  • Summary of the most important things you learned about the topic
  • What questions were answered; what questions still remain
  • How you reacted to conflicting information if relevant
  • How you reacted to the information you received and the interviews themselves

CONCLUSION:

  • What this search did for you and meant to you
  • What you learned about yourself as a researcher and interviewing as a technique to gain knowledge
  • What difference it made to you as one or more of the following: A person, a thinker, a citizen, a researcher or a potential worker in the field
