Overview

Each student will write another chapter of Seedfolks. This chapter could appear somewhere within the book, or it could be a chapter from the garden’s second season or beyond. Your chapter should be a vignette (remember your name vignettes?), so it is a short, descriptive piece of writing that describes a character or event, but it doesn’t need to have a complete plot like your short stories.

• Your chapter’s title should be your character’s name.
• You should include a small box picture like the book did at the beginning of your chapter.
• Your chapter should refer to at least one character, garden plot, or event from the real Seedfolks.
• Exceeding – your chapter should overlap with or purposefully refer to another classmate’s character or chapter.
• Your chapter should be approximately 5-10 paragraphs, depending on the character you develop and the events you describe. I’m looking more for quality than quantity.
